ABOUT AZAN IN ISLAM

It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat ‘Abdullah bin Zaid Ansari (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says that the Holy Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ) was concerned about calling people for Salaat so much so that the Holy Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ) decided to appoint some people who would climb mounds and hillocks and would gesture to the people to come for Salaat. Hadhrat ‘Abdullah bin Zaid Ansari (May Allah be well pleased with him) says: I saw a dream as if a person clothed in 2 pieces of green cloth is standing in the niche of the mosque and saying the words of the Adhaan.

After some time, that person again stood up and repeated the words of Adhaan with the addition of Qad Qaamatis Salaat Qad Qaamatis Salaat, as is said in the Iqaamah.

Hadhrat ‘Abdullah bin Zaid (May Allah be well pleased with him) says: I related my dream to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and He said: Go! Teach these words to Bilal (May Allah be well pleased with him). I did so.
As this was something new, people came running on hearing this. At last, Hadhrat Bilal (May Allah be well pleased with him) finished the Adhaan. Hadhrat Umar bin Khattab (May Allah be well pleased with him) also came and said: If ‘Abdullah bin Zaid (May Allah be well pleased with him) had not already related this dream, I would have informed the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that I also saw a dream that was exactly similar to what ‘Abdullah bin Zaid (May Allah be well pleased with him) saw. This has been related by Abul Shaykh, Ibn Majah, Abu Dawood and Imam Ahmed. Tirmidhi and Ibn Khuzaimah have declared this Hadith to be rigorously authenticated (Sahih)

There is another Hadith in this regard:
Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abdullah bin ‘Umar (May Allah be well pleased with them), he says that when the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was given a tour of the skies, at that time the words of Adhaan were revealed to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). The Holy Prophet Moahmmed (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) had come with the words of the Adhaan from Meraj itself and Jibreel (May peace be upon him) had conveyed this to Him. (This has been narrated by Imam Tabarani in Mo’jam Ausat Tabarani)
azaan hadith
Our scholars have said that the heavenly journey mentioned in the aforementioned Hadith is not the generally known heavenly journey. This heavenly journey in which the words of the Adhaan were conveyed to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was not physical but spiritual as the physical heavenly journey of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) happened only once, however, the spiritual journey happened many times or this was the dream of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) which has the same legal status as the heavenly journey. continue reading click Here

HE WHO MAKES PEACE BETWEEN THE PEOPLE

  • It was said to the Prophet “Would that you see Abdullah bin Ubai.” So, the Prophet went to him, riding a donkey, and the Muslims accompanied him, walking on salty barren land. When the Prophet reached ‘Abdullah bin Ubai, the latter said, “Keep away from me! By Allah, the bad smell of your donkey has harmed me.” On that an Ansari man said (to ‘Abdullah), “By Allah! The smell of the donkey of Allah’s Apostle is better than your smell.” On that a man from ‘Abdullah’s tribe got angry for ‘Abdullah’s sake, and the two men abused each other which caused the friends of the two men to get angry, and the two groups started fighting with sticks, shoes and hands. We were informed that the following Divine Verse was revealed (in this concern):– “And if two groups of Believers fall to fighting then, make peace between them.” (49.9)Volume 3, Book 49, Number 856 :Narrated by Anas

    ahle sunnat wal  jamaat

  • Once the people of Quba fought with each other till they threw stones on each other. When Allah’s Apostle was informed about it, he said, “Let us go to bring about a reconciliation between them.”Volume 3, Book 49, Number 858 :

TREATING OTHERS KINDLY

Keep helping the creation of Allah, treat them kindly and bestow favors on them. The one whom you treat so will become your friend, nay your slave. Treating others kindly saves one from destruction.
Translation of couplet:
Better than offering 1000 Raka’at of Salaat at every stop in a journey

Is to gladden someone’s heart by kind treatment
The propriety for bestowing favors on others is that the one doing so should conceal it from others and the propriety of the one on whom favors are being bestowed is that he/she should reveal that favor and should always be thankful and grateful for it, learn more about good manners in islam
The mark of a Muslim is to treat everyone kindly. Even if a person has a goat and that person doesn’t treat it kindly, then that person will not be counted among those who bestow favors.
Treating others kindly hadith
Hadith:
The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said that there was a woman and she was punished only because she had a cat which she had tied. Eventually that cat died of hunger. She neither fed it nor watered it, nor did she set it free that it could at least eat insects.
On the other hand, there was a sinful woman. She saw a dog in a jungle which was dying of thirst. She didn’t have any rope or pail with her. She used her sock as a pail and her dupatta as a rope and provided water to the dog.
For only this reason, Almighty Allah had mercy on her and pardoned her.
Did you see how Almighty Allah loves those who treat others kindly?
